Laura started playing cello at the age of six. Currently, she is a tenth-grade student at the Professional Children's School and in her third year at the Juilliard Pre-College (class of Clara Kim).
She is the first prize-winner at the 2016 New York Music Competition, and winner of the 2016 Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition in Salzburg, Austria. As a winner of the Kaufman Music Center Concerto Competition, Laura performed a concerto with Kaufman Music Center Orchestra at Merkin Hall in 2018, conducted by Nathan Hetherington.
She appeared with 92Y School of Music Orchestra under conductor Tomo Matsuo, at the Y92 Centennial concert in NYC. Laura participated in Euro Arts Music Festival in Halle, Germany, and in Todi International Music Academy in Italy - on both occasions, in the class of Professor Suren Bagratuni.
Laura has performed Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations in Berlin, with Mr Geringas conducting. In summers of 2018 and 2019, she attended the Perlman Music Program. In 2019, Laura performed as a soloist with Boston Pops at the Boston Symphony Hall, conductor Maestro Jacomo Bairos.
